Treatment with Levitra can result in an erection in just 10 minutes in some men and in most men within 25 minutes. A new clinical study that measured the speed with which men with ED can achieve an erection demonstrated that Levitra has the most rapid onset to date of any PDE-5 inhibitor on the market. The study will be presented at the 7th European Federation of Sexology (EFS) congress in Brighton this week.
The study (called ONTIME - ONseT of Vardenafil In Men with Erectile Dysfunction), presented in the UK, showed that Levitra had a statistically significant response superior to placebo at 10 and 11 minutes with 10 mg and 20 mg doses, respectively. The ONTIME study assessed the earliest time elapsed from dosing to attainment of an erection adequate for penetration leading to completion of successful intercourse (as measured by SEP3 ).
“The results of the ONTIME study show Levitra demonstrated the fastest onset of action to date, meaning men can be confident and engage in a satisfying sexual experience when they want to,” says Professor Francesco Montorsi, study investigator and Associate Professor of Urology at the Universita’ Vita Salute San Raffaele in Milan.
In another study presented at the congress, speed of action was an essential attribute of ED treatment, more so than duration, according to the largest published survey of male sexuality (Men’s Attitudes to Life Events and Sexuality [MALES]). This study found that in men with ED, rapid onset was considered important irrespective of age, while long duration of action became less important as men aged.

The product was being sold and marketed as a healthy diet supplement but following testing from the Food and Drug Administration in the United States it was found to be containing compounds that are only allowed to be used under license and which are indicated for erectile dysfunction.
The product was found to contain Piperadino Vardenafil that is almost identical in structure to the Vardenafil Citrate compound that is found in the erectile dysfunction drug Levitra, made by the pharmaceutical company Bayer. Levitra is the third most popular erectile dysfunction medication in the world and in clinical trials has been shown to be as effective as Viagra and Cialis which are its main rivals.
Whoever manufactures this product is extremely irresponsible and could have caused the deaths of a number of men as vardenafil in any form can react with nitrates, (which some men take for heart problems), and cause fatal low blood pressure levels. All three erectile dysfunction medications, Viagra, Cialis and Levitra have been contra-indicated for use in men who take nitrates or who have heart problems. The real danger is that as this product H S Joy of Love makes no mention of the fact that it contains the vardenafil citrate chemical some men may have used it not being aware of the possible fatal consequences. H S Joy of Love was distributed by Jen-On Herbal Science International based in California and is now immediately being recalled following the FDA testing.

The rock chick and fashion model Jerry Hall is well known to us at Ukmedix news for her fronting of an erectile dysfunction campaign for the drug company Bayer. For some time now she has been the face of an initiative to encourage men who have impotence problems to talk about the condition with health professionals and their partners.
At present Jerry Hall is busy traveling around the world promoting the campaign which is called “Strike Up A Conversation”. The idea is that men need to talk about erectile dysfunction and to get it out into the open because when it is all kept under wraps that is when misinformation and bad advice as well as the stigmas and taboos surrounding the condition are brought to the forefront. Men must realize that doctors have seen it all before and that there’s nothing to be embarrassed about by admitting that you have impotence.
The simple fact of a man admitting to his partner that he has erectile dysfunction can be a huge relief for the man as well as his partner. Women whose men do not make love to them often feel that there is some other problem to the relationship such as that he is having an affair with someone else or that he just doesn’t find her attractive anymore. The man himself will be also be under a great amount of stress and strain and this can cause irreversible problems to a relationship. In some cases just by the man knowing that the woman will be understanding can help him to get an erection as the performance anxiety aspect of lovemaking is removed for him. If a man and a woman can understand that erectile dysfunction is a simple medical problem and that they get help for example by using the medicine Levitra their relationship can grow stronger and improve.
Levitra is a very effective erectile dysfunction drug that has been shown in clinical tests to be as effective as Viagra.

he makers of the erectile dysfunction drug Levitra namely Bayer have been reorganizing their drugs business and have decided to setup a new Men’s Healthcare section within the company. What they have decided to do is group the 3 urology medications that they produce into one division. What this means is that the erectile dysfunction drug Levitra as well as a treatment called Testogel that is a testosterone replacement therapy and lastly another treatment called Nebido which is a testosterone deficiency medicine will be under one umbrella and in one division.
Bayer said that this will be very useful to doctors and healthcare professionals who will now be able to have a complete package of medication and treatment for men who suffer from erectile dysfunction. Testosterone can help improve the libido and sexual desire of some men and along with the Levitra drug can mean that a man can restore himself back to a healthy sexual function.
Along with all manufacturers of erectile dysfunction medication, Bayer is very keen to improve the sales of its drug Levitra. In view of this it is setting up a three year research project for Levitra which is called REPEAT. The idea is that feedback from patients and their partners will be made available to doctors as well as Bayer in order to improve the way that they prescribe and promote the erectile dysfunction medication Levitra.
Despite the fact that Levitra is the least well known impotence drug it is as effective as Viagra and this has been proven by a number of clinical tests where men were asked for feedback on the use of an impotence drug not knowing whether it was in fact Levitra or Viagra. In some cases the men said that they actually had better results with the Levitra drug then they had with the Viagra drug.

The German pharmaceutical giant Bayer has released its financial results and the figures look extremely good. One of the reasons for the strong performance of Bayer this year has been the good sales of its erectile dysfunction drug Levitra. Levitra is the third most popular erectile dysfunction drug in the world after the drug made by Pfizer (Viagra) and the drug made by Eli Lilly (Cialis).
Many people reckon that because it is the third most popular drug in the world that it is not as effective as the other two, however clinical testing has shown this not to be true, in fact Levitra is just as good as Viagra and some men even say it’s better. After all the three erectile dysfunction drugs on the market today all actually work in exactly the same way. They are all PDE-5 inhibitors and are all if you like ‘cousins’ of each other. Levitra like Viagra works for four hours and it has exactly the same side effects and has exactly the same success rate in men with erectile dysfunction. Probably the only reason why it is not as successful sales wise as Viagra is quite simply because it came after Viagra and Viagra stole the march on the other two simply by being the first on the market.
This year the sales of Levitra have been impressive and the figures show that sales are up almost 21 percent to 314 million euros. Bayer still need to spend millions and millions of dollars on promoting Levitra in order to make it catch up with Viagra and Cialis. They used some very aggressive and inventive marketing tactics this year one of which was to hire the model and actress Jerry Hall as an ambassador for the Levitra erectile dysfunction drug. At Ukmedix News we expect Levitra to carry on doing very well as we know it works well and it is a good, safe and effective erectile dysfunction medication.

A new study done by the manufacturers of the erectile dysfunction drug Levitra namely Bayer Schering Pharma adds to the weight of evidence which shows that their impotence medication is “highly efficacious” for men suffering from erectile problems. The study also noted that it was especially effective after surgery for prostate cancer known as nerve-sparing prostatectomy.
The study was designed to examine whether the Levitra drug would be effective when taken at a particular time every night as a prophylactic treatment as opposed to the effectiveness of the Levitra drug when it is taken on demand. In line with correct practices for drug trials the study was conducted in many different locations with a placebo controlled, double blind randomised format. Almost 450 men took part in the clinical trials for over a year making it the largest study of its kind.
The thinking behind the study was explained by Professor Francesco Montorsi at the University Vita Salute San Raffaele who said the idea was to examine the best way for men to use the Levitra drug after they had undergone radical prostate surgery.
The results which were collected over a nine month period saw that men who used Levitra on demand had a 46 percent success rate for satisfactory sexual intercourse compared to a 34.5 percent success rate for those men who took Levitra every night at the same time. Twenty five percent of men who took a placebo tablet also reported normal erectile function when based on the International Index of Erectile Function standard.
The researchers therefore maintained that the idea of treating erectile dysfunction in men following prostate cancer surgery by taking a daily dose of Levitra was not as effective as taking the Levitra on demand. The researchers said nevertheless that this study adds to the weight of evidence that confirms the specific effectiveness of Levitra as a treatment to cure erectile dysfunction in men following prostate surgery.

A recent UK research project for the erectile dysfunction medication known as Levitra has produced results that show that the Levitra is not only enhancing the sexual function and pleasure of men but also that it can play a part in the enhancement of sexual function of women. The research confirms a trend in thinking that it is women who benefit from erectile dyfunction medication as much as men if not more.
The research project in the South West of England involved 260 participants who admitted to some form of erectile dysfunction. The men were either given Levitra or a dud placebo pill. The study that took place over 3 months involved detailed questionnaires about sexual function and satisfaction from both the men and women at monthly intervals.
The first finding that was reported was an 81% betterment in erections for those taking the Levitra medication compared to only 30% with the dud placebo pill. Erectile dysfunction medication is known to produce high figures of supposed improvemnet with placebo pills, thus explaining why so many worthless traditional remedies continue to be used.
The participants were asked in their questionnaires whether Levitra had an effect on sexual function in both the men and women in the following areas. They were orgasm satisfaction, sexual confidence, sexual pleasure, ease of erection, satisfaction of erection and satisfaction of the medication.
Sixty percent of men taking the Levitra reported improved orgasm satisfaction compared to 32% of those taking the placebo. Females reported 56% and 32% improvement of orgasm satisfaction respectively for Levitra and placebo.
Levitra also improved the sexual confidence of both men and women over the study period with figures of 62% for men and 59% for women. The placebo increased confidence by 34% in men and 30% in women. Sexual pleasure received a boost with 67% of men and 64% of women reporting positively on that compared to 44% and 38% with the placebo.
The perception by which ease of erection was improved was 64% for men and 60% for women for Levitra users and 41% and 37% for placebo users. The satisfaction with erection figures were 60% and 58% for Levitra and 28% and 27% for placebo users. Overall satisfaction with Levitra was 62% and 58% for those actually using it and those who thought that they were using it reported 31% and 30% respectively.
The difference in improvement of sexual funtion for men and women was minimal suggesting that Levitra is as much a sexual function drug for women as it is for men.

Levitra the least known erectile dysfunction medication has been used in a number of medical trials recently done on the heart. The researchers noted that not only did the use of the vardenafil (the active ingredient of Levitra) help when administered before a heart attack but also when given after the heart attack.
In the research human hearts were not studied due to the inherent dangers but animals were used that mimic the human heart closely. It was noted that the Levitra erectile dysfunction drug was more effective in preventing damage to the heart and preventing a heart attack in the first place then nitro-glycerine that is commonly used. The research that was done at Virginia Commonwealth University in the United States concluded that in the future the impotence drug Levitra could work as a heart attack preventer and heart strengthener in men who were at risk due to cardio problems.
After a heart attack the heart muscle is often damaged and this can be a big problem when it comes to the recovery. The animals therefore who were given the Levitra recovered more quickly than those that were not. Viagra the more famous impotence medication was also used in this study and was seen to have an identical effect on the heart muscles as Levitra did. The study has already been made public in the Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology and is likely to fuel a whole new set of studies on the connection and use of erectile dysfunction medication on the heart.
If research on the heart and Levitra proves to be conclusive and useful then the earnings for Abbott Laboratories that make Levitra could be enormous and could overtake the amount that they make from selling the drug to men with erectile difficulties. Ukmedix News will be looking out for more research in this regard.

When Levitra was launched, they tried to create a tough guy,
macho image for Levitra, as if to say that “even big strong
men experience difficulty getting and staying erect”.
The ads were very “in your face”.
The Levitra marketers used Mike Ditka, a chubby,
aging, macho, football player as a spokesman. They ran
a promotion whereby you could visit the Levitra website
and sign up to win tickets to the Superbowl (something that
had never been done with a drug before).
However, the macho man campaign didn’t work so well,
so they dumped Ditka. Then they switched to a 40-something
year old brunette woman who says something like :
” Do you want to know little secret? Then she tells
you all about how great Levitra is”.
Now the Levitra advertisements focus on a more subtle effect. They differentiate it by releasing information regarding its effectiveness in people with diabetes, hypertension and other ailments common to middle aged menfolk.
The Levitra advertisements and propotional materials use a candle as a metaphor for intimacy and passion.
